Do you really think all they are going to do is read your resume and decide whether to meet you?
Is LinkedIn Premium WORTH It?
Whether a company or hiring manager has your resume or not, they are going to research you on LinkedIn. They are going to Google you, so it’s important to have a profile and a Google presence that makes sense for what it is you do and want to do. It’s important to post content on LinkedIn because it increases your visibility. After all, you can feature that content that you post or those links that you share on your profile. In addition, you have to use your profile and your Google presence and your resume to illustrate how you solve problems for your previous organizations so that they can imagine that you can do it for them. Last point I want to make is your brand is your reputation. What are you known for? Think about it for a second: what are you known for? Who you are and what you do, what your successes are, and how you go about creating those successes make all the difference in the world and how the next organization is going to see you on the way in as well as while you’re there. I have a lot more great information at jobsearch.com community. Go over to the site, go exploring; there’s a lot there to help you, and I hope you become an insider as well.
