President Tinubu Visits Aisha, Late Buhari’s Widow

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu paid a heartfelt condolence visit to Hajiya Aisha Buhari, the widow of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, at the family residence in Kaduna on Friday. 

The visit, which took place shortly after Tinubu attended a high-profile wedding in the state, underscored the president’s commitment to honoring the enduring legacy of his predecessor, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 82.

The one-day trip to Kaduna marked a significant moment in Tinubu’s ongoing annual leave schedule, blending personal engagements with official courtesies. 

Earlier in the day, the president graced the wedding ceremony of Nasirudeen Yari, son of Senator Abdul’aziz Yari representing Zamfara West, and Safiyya Shehu Idris. 

Accompanied by his son SeyinTinubu, the president arrived at Buhari’s family home to a warm reception from Hajiya Aisha and her children, who greeted him with traditional Hausa hospitality.
